What is dr. anthony garcia?

Dr. Anthony Garcia is a former doctor and medical researcher who has been convicted of murdering four people in Omaha, Nebraska between 2008 and 2013. He was born in California in 1973 to Cuban immigrant parents, and grew up in Southern California.

Garcia graduated from medical school in Mexico in 1997 and then completed his residency in anesthesiology in Illinois. He then went on to complete a fellowship in cardiovascular research at the University of Utah.

In 2000, Garcia moved to Nebraska, where he undertook a medical residency at Creighton University. He subsequently worked in various hospitals in and around Omaha, including twice at Creighton University Medical Center.

In 2013, Garcia was arrested and charged with the murders of two couples: Thomas Hunter and Shirley Sherman in 2008, and Roger and Mary Brumback in 2013. All four victims were connected to Creighton University Medical Center, where Garcia had previously worked. He was convicted of all four murders in 2016 and is currently serving life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Investigators believe that Garcia's motive for the murders was revenge, as he had been fired from Creighton University in 2001. Garcia maintains his innocence and is currently appealing his conviction.
